The best early learning comes from a brilliant team of educators, so we only choose the most passionate, empathetic and talented people to work forTinker Town.
I have worked in childcare for my entire adult life. I started in a center in 2011 and every time we moved to a different State; I found another job at a childcare center. Before that, I was a nanny for about a year. I have always babysat and helped in our church’s nursey and with childcare at study groups.I have my director’s certificate and my infant/toddler nursery certificate from ACC. I am one general education class away from receiving my associates in Early Childhood through ACC also. I have put that class on hold though because I was given the opportunity to take a course to receive a National Director Certificate which I believed was more important. My husband, Shane, and I got married in May of 2015 and have three dogs. We were both born and raised in South Dakota where our families still live and we love to go back and visit. Shane’s schooling took us to Arizona for a while and then his job took us to Utah and then finally here in Colorado. In our free time and weekends, we enjoy hanging out with our friends and going to car events.
At Tinker Town, we’re really proud of our success story. But how did we get here? It’s by keeping these values at heart, and working to the highest standards we can, that we’ve become the leading global early education and care provider.
